My approach blends military discipline with business psychology—because successful transitions require structure and cultural intelligence.

Not just talking the talk.
My first professional transition began in the Army (2009-2013) as a Challenger 2 Tank Driver and Gunner with 1RTR, including a six-month tour of Afghanistan as an IED Detection Dog Handle – experiences that taught me the true meaning of resilience under pressure.
Transitioning to civilian life, I:
• Co-founded Active Listening for Wellbeing CIC in 2014.
• Developed wellbeing programmes for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Trust which I have continued to be involved in the delivery of for over a decade. Culminating with presenting our findings at the International Research for Nurses Conference 2021 – a proud moment that validated the practical impact of my research.
• Created the trademarked Traffic Light Stress Management System® while mentoring a medically discharged veteran through SSAFA for over 18 months.
My thirst for knowledge led to three academic achievements:
1. BA hons Business Management (2020) – producing a 10,000-word dissertation on “Effective Communication in Already Established Teams” working with 19 Heads of Department and a Director of a hospital, which took six months to complete, and concluded with me developing the “Power of 5” communication model.
2. MSc Sports Coaching – where I designed evidence-based reflective practice workshops for all staffing levels in Health Care, as well as another 10,000-word dissertation, this time on the effectiveness of continual development training.
3. MSc Business Psychology – Conducted unique research for Newly Qualified NHS staff, examining their confidence and competence as emerging leaders, and concluding with my third 10,000-word dissection.
Today, I uniquely blend:
✓ Military-honed resilience
✓ Academic rigor (3 research projects, 2 Master’s degrees)
✓ Transitional experiences of my own and those I helped within the NHS for over a decade
I now equip professionals and organisations with science-backed tools to thrive in high-pressure environments.
